Event Coordinator – Corporate Events

We create remarkable experiences for our clients through our advanced technology, outstanding service and quality food and beverage offerings. Cliftons growth is accelerating and due to an internal promotion we now have multiple job openings.  We are seeking two hard-working and experienced Event Coordinators to join our Central Bookings Team. About the RoleBased in our Head Office, this is a fast-paced department that plays a key role in delivering remarkable experiences for our clients - so the pressure will be on and you must be ready for the challenge. Primarily, this role is about accurately creating and updating event details in our online system, liaising with the client over the phone or email, as information is received.You will be part of a small team of corporate Event Scheduling Specialists who are responsible for the receipt of all events bookings, and ensuring accurate information is communicated and coordinated across all our locations ready for our local teams to deliver.  You’ll be coordinating a range of events from small board meetings, corporate training courses to large scale seminars and conventions.  As we have venues across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore – you will have contact with a diverse range of clients/organisers. About YouThe ideal candidates will need to possess impeccable attention to detail, a flair for troubleshooting on the fly and excellent communication skills.The successful applicants will have a bright professional phone manner with excellent data entry skills and thrive under pressure.  A positive attitude with business-centric problem-solving skills and an advanced level of computer competency is required as our events are managed through our online event management system.Experience in a senior customer service role in event co-ordination, schedule management or hospitality is ideal.Why join us? You’ll be an integral part of a friendly and inclusive team environment and a supportive manager.  We’re a market leader but with a family-feel vibe!  You’ll receive on-the-job coaching to get you started and will have the chance to develop your career in this privately owned, fast-paced organisation.Interested?If you feel you are the right person for this role, please apply online now with your resume and a cover letter.Due to volumes only short-listed applicants will be contacted.
